Sensei Morton

Kyoshi Bob Morton is Chief Instructor and Dojo Headmaster. He is involved with all students from beginners to the advanced black belts. Sensei Morton has been studying Martial Arts since 1981, when he started training in Jujutsu. During his early years he studied several different styles including Kyokushinkai and Tae Kwon Do, where he was on an Amateur Full Contact Karate Team. With a dedicated martial arts spirit, Sensei Morton developed his well-rounded skills obtaining black belts in Isshin-ryu Karate, Jujutsu and Kobudo. Since the 1990's, Sensei Morton has been affiliated with numerous national and international organizations, serving in various roles including State and Regional Director. With other accomplishements, by 2010 he had been inducted into the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame, registered and ranked by the prestigeous All Japan Ju-Jitsu International Federation, received formal Shihan certification, and obtained masters level black belts in numerous styles.
